“If you are a grandmother, a mother, or a daughter, we want you to feel comfortable sharing your health concerns; your well-being is what matters most to us.”
Dr. Farah Snyder joined the Jasper OB/GYN family in August 2013. Born and raised in Valparaiso, she remained in Indiana for her undergraduate training at Indiana University in Bloomington. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and minor degrees in Business, Math, and French. She then attended the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. After medical school, she headed to Royal Oak, Michigan, where she completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital.
As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Farah Snyder aims to provide comprehensive care for every patient she encounters. She values the importance of health care prevention by not only screening for female cancers such as breast and cervical cancer, but also by reminding patients to prioritize nutrition and exercise. Her interests include gynecologic health maintenance, family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic organ prolapse.
Dr. Farah Snyder lives in Jasper with her husband, Dr. Michael Snyder, and their son, Everett. Dr. Michael Snyder, who is originally from Jasper, has been a gastroenterologist at Digestive Care Center since August 2013. When not at work, Dr. Farah Snyder enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, going to the Kentucky Derby, traveling, volunteering, and baking.
